Highlights
What's Included
Your Day
Germany's most famous Christmas market, held in the Hauptmarkt since 1628. Over 180 red-and-white striped stalls sell Zwetschgenmännla (prune figurines), gold foil angels, and the city's signature Lebkuchen.
A recreated medieval artisan village within the old city walls. Glassblowers, leather workers, and pewter smiths demonstrate their crafts while you sip Glühwein from hand-thrown pottery mugs.
Walk up to the Imperial Castle for panoramic views over the red rooftops and market stalls below. The old town's half-timbered houses and Albrecht Dürer's house add historical depth beyond the market.
No visit to Nuremberg is complete without the city's famous finger-sized bratwurst. Your guide takes you to Bratwursthäusle or Goldenes Posthorn — institutions since the 15th and 16th century.

Common Questions
Without question. It's the most famous Christmas market in Germany, set in a stunning medieval old town. The combination of market, castle, and bratwurst makes it an unforgettable day.
Yes — Rothenburg ob der Tauber is roughly on the route and has its own beautiful Christmas market. We can do a shorter stop there on the way to or from Nuremberg.
Nuremberg Lebkuchen has Protected Geographical Indication status — it can only be made within the city. The best ones (Elisenlebkuchen) contain no flour, just almonds, hazelnuts, honey, and spices. Your guide knows the best stalls.
